OK, so I’m in Portland. I’m looking for a house in the North East or South East for I’ve been told these are the best places.
This is my ideal home:
2 bedroom stand alone house (no condo etc) $1000.-$1200. mth. including utilities. I’d like to have the option of renting out the other room
while getting the site ready. Furnished a bonus but not necessary. Washer/drier a plus but again not necessary.
Garage a plus but again not necessary.

So I’m going to review Portland like a record...
I think the people here are so shockingly nice because, like a kitty that has never been hit, they don’t know any other way.
Kurt Cobain is not dead. I saw him a billion times walking around everywhere and he is practically every guy at every party and cafe I’ve been to.
Everyone is snuggly and crafty and makes their own everything. This place is D.I.Y. capitol and I like that!
Living here is like living in a discount store because everything and I mean EVERYTHING is Half off! Especially compared to Manhattan!
This is definitely the place to bunker down during a recession.
