Dame Darcy signs copies of her new graphic novel, Gasoline (Merrell) and her celebrated comic book, Meatcake at the Fantagraphics table at the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art’s annual show, this year at the 69th regiment armory in Manhattan.

Columbia University and Jim Hanley’s Universe present a lecture on sequential art through the ages and the relevance of comix today. Also a book signing by Dame Darcy at the Butler Library room 523. Columbia University is located at 114th st. and Broadway.

Latvian Society Cultural Center in Philadelphia, PA at 531 N 7th and Spring Gardens st. presents, the Haunted Poe Cabaret and doll crafting workshop. 1-4 pm in the dining room Dame Darcy doll crafting workshop and instructional video shown. Cabaret doors open at 8pm show starts at 9pm in the theatre space. Sea shanties by Dame Darcy and Ben Smiley, live appearance by Edgar Allen Poe plus performance’s by other local Philadelphia artists and musicians.
